On 13 September 2026, parents from our school participated in an inspiring and thought-provoking seminar jointly organised by St. Paul’s College Foundation and Preface on the theme “Future Trends and Human Talents in the Age of AI”. Designed specifically for primary school parents, the seminar examined how artificial intelligence is reshaping education and the workplace. It also highlighted how parents can nurture essential human qualities such as curiosity, creativity, empathy and a lifelong passion for learning in their children.

We were honoured to hear from two distinguished speakers. Mr Tommie Lo, Founder and CEO of Preface, shared his insights on the transformative impact of AI and the importance of preparing the next generation for a rapidly changing world. Mr Sean Tam, Chief Technology Instructor at Preface and an alumnus of St Paul’s College, introduced practical ways families can make meaningful use of AI in everyday learning while developing critical thinking and responsible digital habits.

The seminar offered valuable perspectives on how schools and families can work together to help children embrace technological advancements while cultivating the uniquely human qualities that remain indispensable in the age of AI.
