To foster brotherhood among our boys, we pair each J. C. 1 student with a J. C. 6 student under the Big Brother Scheme every year. On the second day of school, the “big brothers” patiently guided the junior boys in using and completing their student handbooks. They also took their younger brothers on a tour of the campus, introducing them to different facilities and helping them become familiar with their new school environment.

Beyond helping our youngest students settle into school life, the scheme also provides valuable opportunities for our J. C. 6 students to develop leadership, responsibility and a caring spirit. By serving as role models and mentors, the senior boys learn to look after others and become more attentive to the needs of their younger schoolmates. Through these meaningful interactions, our boys learn that a caring school community is built on mutual support, friendship and service to one another.
