The Biotechnology Mobile Laboratory is a traveling laboratory specially designed for students to participate in hands-on experiments. Our J.C.4 students worked on an experiment called “Extraction of DNA from Bacterial Cells”. Students learnt about the basics of genetics, and cellular structures of prokaryotes and eukaryotes. After that, they extracted DNA from E.coli cells, and realized that DNA is tangible!
