Despite the challenges of online learning and teaching, the upskilled use of technology has ensured that effective learning has occurred in the first three weeks of this new school year. Feedback from students, parents and teachers indicates that it has not been an easy adjustment. However, ‘necessity is the mother of invention’ and we now have got the new skills and a greater appreciation of the value and benefits of working together in a physical community.

We are glad that face-to-face schooling for students of three levels restarts today. We welcome our new J. C. 1 brothers who started their very first day of primary school on campus. Class Teachers and Guidance Teachers ran a number of games to help them get familiar with school routine and the new environment. Our senior boys of J. C. 5 and 6 were excited to meet their old friends although they had seen each other virtually during online lessons in past weeks.

We are looking forward to reconnecting with everyone when all boys have classes at school on 29 September.
